Alexandra Storari
Alexandra Storari is an Italian European Project Manager and External Consultant with more than 20 years of experience in the field of European cooperation and EU-funded programmes.
She collaborates with universities, public authorities, training providers, cultural organisations and civil society organisations across Europe and the Mediterranean region, supporting the design, implementation, management and reporting of European projects.
Alexandra holds a Degree in Political Science from the University of Bologna and has specialised in European funding opportunities since the late 1990s. During her career, she has developed extensive expertise in programmes such as Erasmus+, Creative Europe and CERV, providing strategic guidance and technical support to organisations engaged in international cooperation initiatives.
Throughout her career, Alexandra has designed and submitted around 90 European project proposals, successfully securing and coordinating more than 30 funded projects. She has led international partnerships involving over 100 organisations across Europe and the Mediterranean region, supporting cooperation, innovation and capacity building in the fields of education and training, culture and creativity, active citizenship and social innovation.
She is the Founder and President of Officine Europa APS, an Italian non-profit organisation dedicated to promoting European citizenship, education, culture and active participation through European projects and international partnerships. She is also the creator and director of the European Projects Festival, an international event that brings together institutions, organisations, practitioners and citizens to explore the opportunities and impact of European programmes.
She often describes herself as an “architect of European projects”, combining strategic vision, rigorous project management and creative thinking to transform ideas into meaningful and impactful European initiatives.
Her work is driven by a strong belief that European projects are not only funding opportunities, but also powerful tools for learning, dialogue, innovation and positive social change.
